Ann Head

An Idaho native, Ann Head was born in Boise then graduated from Emmett High School in 2007.  After graduation she continued her education at the University of Idaho and Central Wyoming College, eventually graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Boise State University.  Ann joined the Idaho Air National Guard as a Medic in 2017, and currently works at Gowen Field full time as a Health Technician.
Ann Lives with her husband, two cats, and dog in Garden City. They are currently expecting their first child, a son, in August of 2019. During her off time she enjoys camping, hiking, and traveling with her family as well as working in her personal business as a commission artist.

Saturday 27 May,  2018, volunteers from the 124th Medical Group placed 1200 flowers on the graves of Idaho veteran’s at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery. The flowers could be seen by all who entered the cemetery since the graves that were marked with the roses were at the entrance of the cemetery. For each placement of a rose a moment of silence was taken in recognition of the military service for each veteran. With the remaining 300 roses our volunteers greeted every vehicle that came in to the cemetery thanking them for their family and friends service to our great nation.  We were very thankful and humbled to be a part of this experience. We would like to see the event grow to eventually place a rose on every grave in the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.
